It’s like traveling to Greece when dining at Mylos in Coral Gables

A little removed from bustling downtown Coral Gables and inside a quaint boutique hotel on Ponce de Leon Boulevard is the authentic Mediterranean eatery Mylos Restaurant. For 20 years, owner Constantino Grillas and his staff have been serving up all the favorites from his native part of the world.

The place is deceivingly large with plenty of seating on either side of the entrance. To the immediate right and left are quaint tables for two and four and farther back to the left is longer type seating.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they serve a delectable buffet for each time of the day and also offer free parking behind the restaurant in the hotel’s lot. Constantino says both hotel guests and business folks from the come to dine here and the latter especially for lunch. They love this place and many of the people are regulars.

Catering and large parties are also big business at Mylos, probably because the food is so delicious and is an ideal fit for large crowds. It’s also some of the healthiest food around. Studies consistently show that the Mediterranean diet is one that should be imitated by everyone, especially people in the United States.
